The Oak Meadow STINGRAYS swim team is comprised of swimmers Age 5 –18. Our swimmers live in Oak Meadow as well as the surrounding neighborhoods. We belong to the Lone Star Summer Swim League and compete in Division A. The other teams in our division are Deerfield, Hidden Forest, Encino Park, and Vineyard. 

All Stingrays will receive stroke instruction, learn sportsmanship, and develop team camaraderie. Our 5 & 6 year old swimmer focus on Freestyle and Backstroke. Our older swimmers are taught all individual strokes (Freestyle, Backstroke, Breastroke and Butterfly).

First time Stingrays should be:

1. Comfortable with putting their face in the water.

2. Able to swim unaided for 1/2 length of the pool.

3. Be between 5-18 years old on June 1, 2025.
